GET YOUR MINDS OUT OF THE GUTTER ::015:: ::015::!

After a long deliberation (two quarts of Paulaner Oktoberfest beer), I ordered and received a Replay XD1080 camera!!!

Any ideas on where to mount it for best coverage? I am guessing a helmet mount with some kind of remote control if one is available?

Best Regards,

TCR

I was always afraid of what could/would happen to my head/neck in a crash if I had something like that mounted to my helmet.

Think about multiple mounting points depending upon your tyoe of riding. Rear view, front view, bike action ( suspension movement). When the camera gets more sky it will try to compensate for the over exposure, so try and get more ground to take account of those jumps and bumps.

I have SW-Motech bars and find mounting the camera on the off-side set gives a good view and you can include the front wheel action too. Don't forget to tether your camera!

Well just don't do it in public is my only advice ::024::. But if'n you do anyway, make sure you have your camera setup just right. ::025::
