Hi I was curious if there is any central WA riders here. I was curious about the Forest service road from Silver falls (Entiat) to 25 mile creek (Lake Chelan). I haven't been over it in 20 + years but was curious when the snow lifts if its doable on the Tenere' or more WR450 ish
Thanks

Tim,

I think that is part of the road which is on the WABDR. I drove from Cashmere north to 25mile creek one day last year, oh wait, maybe that was 2 summers ago already.

Yes, the section from Ardenvoir N to 25-mile is part of the WABCDR. You might hook into the discussions on advrider.com and other forums about the WABCDR. I've done the paved road N out of Ardenvoir and it is fantastic until it peters out. And I've done the S. half of the WABDCR to Ellensberg on my S10 and the section from Chelan N to the border on a Wee. (Not much help I'm afraid about the section you're asking about.) In both cases, 98% of the route was great on the bigger bike, but 2% was white-knuckle (especially on the S10) with occasional rocky pitches where I really wanted to be on a smaller bike.
