The Catalan Grand Prix was simply the best race of the year. There was actually a battle for first til the bitter end. If you haven't seen it already it's worth a watch if you like that kind of thing. ::26::

actually motogp hasnt been too bad this year!

looking forward to indy in person
Due to a move back to Arkansas in August, I missed MotoGP at Indy for the first time. It was held on my Daughters birthday weekend. I can't make it this year either. I went once to Laguna Seca (2006) and unless a bunch of guys wanted to get together and camp at the site, will not go back.

Have TRIED to go to Laguna but it's not easy! A helluva lot going on to go there if you are not from there.

Indy: ride in, camp, go to races, go home! Pretty freaking easy and low cost.

Well, I went and stayed at Great Basin State Park. The ingress and egress is horrible. I rode my bike out relatively expeditiously, but waited 4 hours at Fort Ord for my family members who did the shuttle service. Also the track was literally melting in front of us. Laguna had the track repaved because it was so bumpy, and wound up suing the contractor and having the job done over. Needless to say it was over 100 degree temps and they were selling water for $4/bottle. Finally on race day they gave water away and that was stand up on Lagunas part.
I would go back if a bunch of guys wanted to camp/RV on site. That would be fun.
Indy is much lower cost and much easier to get in and out of.

Meh....I'd say Moto2 was the bees knees this weekend. You could see who was going to win half way by lap 13 in GP.

I would have liked it much better if there were no off's at the beginning...if ya know what i mean ;)
