Been looking over the TwistedThrottle site for needed farkels and was wondering about their tankbags. I like the fact the system connects at the fuel filler, and should not scratch the tank like magnets or straps might.

Seen a few of the reviews on the "City" tank bag. The "City" looks like a good bag, but I'm looking for something smaller. I'm looking for a tank-bag to carry pocket items, like wallet, keys, phone, glasses, and such. Two of the bags that appeal to me are the "Daypack II" and the "Trip". Only the "Trip" bag is listed as fitting the ST, and was wondering if this is an oversight for the "Daypack II" bag, or there is a reason it won't fit. Also, it is possible to get measurements on the dimensions of these bags?

Super late to answer this - sorry. The DDaypack DOES fit the S10. I added it to the ""What Fits My Bike" section of our site.

Had these bags on my ZZR1400 and now on my 1200GS, will be one of the first things I add to a Tenere when I buy one. Very easy to fit / remove and they did not harm my bodywork on either bike

The powered ones are very handy as well, the ZZR had no external power so this was very useful for charging phones / powering sat-nav etc.

Well, I went and purchased the "Daypack II". And then returned it in exchange for the "City" bag. :-\

The "Daypack II" seemed a good smaller sized bag, but the way it would mount wasn't working for the ST. The "Daypack II" sat too far back and cantilevered out over the "drop" of the tank. It looked funny, and I figured I just get the "City" bag and make use of that empty space between the tank slope and bag. The "City" is a little larger than I wanted, but overall a great bag. Matt at Twisted Throttle helped make the exchange painless. ::008::

Ever considered a pocket for that

Before I retired from the Power Rangers I always had issues carrying a few small items about, now I have a textile twat-suit I have enough pockets to go away for a weekend without any luggage.

Perhaps you need some new clothes ::008::

I have the Bags Connection Daypack II. Just the right size for some smaller stuff. Fits well, looks good, easy on and off. I like it. I keep all kinds of small, miscellaneous crap in it. It is the feline's butt. R

Rem,

You wouldn't have a pic of that bag mounted on the ST do you?

I have a Marsee tank bag with the quick-disconnect ring that I use on my Tiger and love the small size just for the misc crap, and I just found out that the tank ring will not work on the ST, so I'm on the hunt for one for the ST.

Ever crash with keys, phone and such in your pockets? At the least its painful, and could cause a serious injury depending on what you're carrying and how you land. I'd rather not take the risk.

Steve, I have the Daypack ll and really like it. With all the pics I have taken, none are really of the bag. Here are some that may help you.
When I get a chance, I'll take some better ones.

Oh, Puh - shaw !!!! So, how does the little bag look to you ???? It actually holds quite a bit of stuff. I had a spare tire, shotgun and an extra pair of boots in there at one point. ::003:: ::012:: ::012:: R

Did you have to use the expansion zipper, or did it all fit with room to spare? ::025:: ::025:: ::26::
