I've bought some used pannier rails for my Gen2 bike but the instructions show a stock part on the bike that mine doesn't seem to have. In the attached pic it shows a brace marked as an original part that fits behind the Touratech bracket but my bike doesn't have this, does anyone else's have this bracket?

To make matters worse the rails are missing the Touratech bracket shown in gray in the same pic, has anyone had any luck ordering spare parts from TT? i've emailed them but not had a response yet.

Thanks for the help.

I have bought pannier parts from TT. It took a while to get them, but they were good to deal with.

I'll look at my brackets when I get home. I noted some minor differences between the '12 & '15.

Do you have an AS or a Std?

Thanks for the reply Eric, it's now sorted, I thought I'd be clever and download a fresh set of instructions instead of using the tatty ones that were supplied with the bars, when I looked at the tatty instructions there were lots of notes on there, turns out only the ES models need the extra bracket. You have to love Touratwat instructions! The rails are on, need to find used panniers next!

Glad you have it sorted. I actually have a 31L TT pannier for sale. PM if you're interested. It's in the for sale section on this forum. It's anodized silver, so no black marks on your stuff inside.

Thanks for the offer but I'm sure the delivery charge to the uk will sting a bit!
