$350? "much lighter than the stock shield"? How much lighter can it be, the stock one only weighs about half a pound...

I have nothing against bling per se, but if you are going to spend that much on a muffler cover, why wouldn't you put that money toward an Akropovic CF muffler? Then you can away with the cover altogether, and get some significant weight savings on the muffer.

If you want CF bling on your muffler, this looks as good for not much more than half the price. I guess the main difference is, this one is just a CF copy of the original, while Tourtech's is a complete redesign.

I like the looks of the one TABASCO sells. I don't know the cost but it sure looks good.

Throw the CF panels from the Worldcrosser on the front to match up with this. ::008::

::026:: That one is mine and I love it! Everone who sees my bike immediately tells me how cool the shield looks and what an improvement it is compared to stock.

Great work Tabasco, enjoy the looks everyday! ::008::

P.s. i had already ordered the Touratech shield when Tabaso told me that he could make the Akra lookalike. I immediately cancelled the Touratech one and enjoy that decision every day. Not only is Tabasco's one better looking but I also got to know Tabaso as a great guy and vendor! ::008::

It ain't the shield. It's just because you have a unique and very cool looking bike, of which the exhaust shield is a very small contributor.

Everyone tells him how much better this shield looks compared to the stock shield. I don't think there is much wiggle room for interpretation as he stated exactly that. That said, he doess have a sharp looking bike. 8)

I WANT that seat!!!
Others have already asked me to see what can be done, and I have asked Yamaha. They will not sell the seat as aftermarket part.

Wunderlich has a similar-looking seat on the S10 at the Euro shows, but it's not listed on http://www.wunderlichamerica.com/bmw/XT1200Z.html (althought it's on the bike in the pic). Know anything about it? (apart from it's going to be $$$$$)

Well my search is deffinatly on for a decent seat. I'm using push bike shorts at the minute and they work a treat. Bought at Aldi for £4.50 long bike trakies. I can recommend them. Done over a 1000 miles in mine without issue (exept for feeling like you have a dyper on when not on the bike) but no one knows honest! :))
