Utah has some of the best offroad riding available in the U.S. I have ridden the White Rim Trail on a DR650, I wouldnt want to do it on a large dual sport bike and would have actually preferred a WR250 or something similar for that ride. I dropped the bike going up Murphys Hogback, fortunately I stepped off to the right, stepping off to the left was not an option.

I have to admit I'm not inclined to take my expensive (and only) bike into conditions that rough. I love the idea of it, but only if I'm riding a Tenere that belongs to someone else. If I'm paying the bill I'm much more inclined to take a 250-450cc dirt bike. With my limited pocketbook reality must take precedence over fantasy. Whatever I'm riding, that looked like a lot of fun.

I agree about a smaller bike in some of the riding conditions shown. How bad were the ones they didn't show ???

I think that's why they ride with 5 other guys, so they can pick them up off the ground 20 times a day. :D

Bet they had a good nights sleep each night, but had a hard time getting out of bed each morning. ;)

How did you like the yamaha super tenere experience? Was Yamaha a good host?

I wished Yamaha would do this in the USA.
