Tents

I got tired of sleeping on the ground and got this. At 265 lbs (really closer to 300) it is light enough to tow behind the Tenere and big enough to go behind the truck. There's 15 cubic feet of storage at the bottom which is more than the normal boxes carry on the bike.

Am working on some issues with getting the bike's hitch ball placed where it should be behind the rear axle. Current situation is not safe in several ways.



For scale to a bike, here's somebody with one behind a ST1300:

Wax the zippers and see if that fixes the problem.

Thanks again. I didn't even know zipper wax existed.

My last tent was an expensive four season North Face (buddy's wife worked there and got me a great deal) and I never had a problem with it. I guess at the lower price point of the Half Dome I should have expected something like this. Still love the tent though.
