correct. I'll put on a full 5 or 6k km and see how the oil treats me. I'll also do a comp check to see where we're at.
Hell if I'm bored, I'll do a comp check before that. I ran the rings in yesterday.

So, what the hell went wrong with the motor. Three things:
-Rings
-Valve seals (see hot dog down hallway)
-Dirt ingestion and/or top ring flex

What I'm happy to see is what appears to be a second bonding with the Tenere!

I know what it's like because I too had the new bike bond when I first got it, and then a few years later got to pick it up from Jaxon after he substantially improved it in almost every aspect.

A 2-time bonding bike deserves a looooong relationship.

I'm really happy I did the rebuild. It;s what the doctor ordered.

I'm really excited to ride the crap out of it again
