Super Tenere in Alabama

Hello to all,

I'm Rick and I ride a 2012 Super Tenere, black. I spent years riding Harley and custom bikes - after getting my XT1200Z, I sold all of them and it's now my only ride.

I'm the Program Manager, Alabama Motorcycle Safety Program at the Alabama Traffic Safety Center. I'm an MSF certified RiderCoach and RiderCoach Trainer. I'm certified in the Basic Riders Course, Basic Riders Course 2, Advanced Riders Course and the Harley Davidson Riding Academy Course. I supervise all MSF training in the state of AL - with the exception of military installations.

I'm retired from USAF (1987-2007). I'm originally from E. Tennessee (Go VOLS). I have a wife, 2 daughters (27 & 20) , 2 sons (21 & 17), 4 bluetick coonhounds, and a chihuahua. I'm an avid hunter and fisherman and love the outdoors.

I'm very glad to find the board/forum and be accepted.

I'm really excited about this board. It's let me to purchase the upper crash bars and a backrest for my wife. I love my S10 and what a place for ideas to improve.

Yes, I'm the Program Manager, Alabama Motorcycle Safety Program - office is at Montevallo. I stay busy and on the road at different training sites.

My Tennessee welcomes - GO VOLS. I'm BIG ORANGE through and through.

I hope to see a S10 get together somewhere soon. We have Moody AL, Huntsville AL, Couple in Tennessee.

Glad to see some other Tenere riders in Bama. I am near Troy and no one around here knows what my bike is. But, if they rode one a few miles, they would probably have to have one of their own!
