Meet up on the 28.08.2014 at The Black Horse Pub & Restaurant Fiddling Lane Monks Horton Ashford TN25 6AP, if we can get 15 riders this will make the train crossing much cheaper, will try get open return.
Early morning ride to channel tunnel to cross with the train

If we can get 15 riders this will make the train crossing much cheaper, will try to get open return so people who need to leave early can do so.
Then ride to Zeltingen–Rachtig, which is 283 miles and should take around 5 hours at a nice cruise with a couple of stops

At the same time as the event, there is the Wine festival on the go. I have attended the festival and really enjoyed it, with great wine on offer and a great atmosphere.

We are also planning to get together on Saturday night at the old monastery brewery and restaurant over the bridge (5 mins walk from the campsite) for the get together and meal. They can accommodate large numbers and it's a lovely place.

The rest of the meals will be catered by yourselves but I am sure with the festival on the go there will be plenty of good food about in the streets with the wine festival on the go.
During the days you are welcome to adventure were you like, with great sites to see with not too much traveling, like bernkastel-kues
Or you can take the river ferry and travel up and down the Mosel River.
Loopydog has also offered to take some rides out into the country side so the choice is your or you can just chill and soak up the atmosphere with the festival.
Then you can either depart on the Sunday or the Monday, I personally am going to leave on the Monday so that will give me a nice chilled and relaxing weekend.
The costs will be determined on how many people attend and also how well the raffle does.
