I'm probably missing it, but most forms have a way of bringing up all of your "subscribed" threads. I haven't found that. I tried the "search" function figuring I'd just search on my user name to get all the threads I've posted in. However this doesn't work either because you need a subject to search on.

Is there a way to do this? If not, it would be a "nice to have" function.

Thanks, I really like the layout and format of this fourm!

I believe on this forum they call it the "Notify" button. It is on the top and bottom right of the threads. Between the Reply and Mark Unread buttons. It took me a few weeks to figure out what it was and what it did.

I dont' think that's it. I'm looking for a way to see all the threads I've ever responded to in one place weather they have a new response or not.

Click on profile in the menu at top of page. Under your avatar it will have show posts. Click that and it will show all your posts, last one will be on top.

That will work. More shows than just a simple list of threads, but it will work for me.

Thanks

One thing about this method, is that it requires you to post something. Other Fourms that I've been apart of let's you subscribe to a thread without actually posting anything.

Your right. No way I have found to just subscribe. Once its off the page It's back to doing a search or finding it under the category it was posted. :'(
It took me a while when I first got on here to find my posts.

If you use the "Notify" function as previously discussed, you can go into your profile and click "Notifications" and it'll show you all topics you've Subscribed to with the Notify function.

I agree but I have not found a way to subscribe to a topic without posting to it. I'm sure I am missing something......I do that a lot :(

Never mind, I found what you were talking about. Thanks!

Find a thread you want to watch (or "subscribe" to) but don't want to post in. Once there scroll up to the top or bottom of the page. Over to the right side you will see a series of "buttons" that say the following:

REPLY NOTIFY MARK UNREAD SEND THIS TOPIC PRINT

Click on the one that says "Notify"... You will get a dialog box that says "Are you sure you wish to enable notification of new replies for this topic?"... Click on "OK", and you're done. Now whenever anybody responds to the topic you will receive a notification of it, and just as Venture said, if you want to look at the topics you are watching or have "subscribed" to just go to your profile page and pull down the "Modify Profile" menu and click on "Notifications". They'll all be laid out right there.

Hope this helps!

Not trying to make anyone "feel dumb", Combo... I promise!!! Just trying to help. I gotta' admit I had hell with this forum when I first started fooling with it. Different software, nomenclature, etc. from any other I'd been on. ???

Believe me, I've been exactly where you were... ::003::

I know you try to help everyone Dallara and I think most understand that. I try to be funny on replies and screw things up sometimes. I am an easy going guy and try to make things fun but sometimes does not come out right. ::001::
