I am looking at the Garmin 665. It has what I want. Especially XM radio. Absolutely love to listen to the old time radio shows while riding. Just that I am cheap, although I do have the money for it. And it would solve several issues. My last GPS was "appropriated" by my youngest daughter several years ago.Hungry Tiger said:HeliMark: Great trip report. With your aviation background, you might look into a Garmin 665. It displays XM aviation weather (ground level). It has the same 7-10 min delay from actual conditions, but not so critical on a bike. The 665 is a great cross country driving companion. It's helped this So. Calif. fair weather boy, skirt some horrendous thunderstorm cells in the Midwest.

Rickvan67, I did the modification that raised and pulled back the bars, and different seat. With just that, I was impressed I was able to ride the miles I did as I have moderate degenerative disc's in both my neck and lower back. Speaks a lot about the bike.
