um it is funny you mention that. As an MSF Instructor, I have to have a licensed motorcycle in my posession. I do have my eye on an old 1972 Honda CL350 in mint condition. The guy wants $1800 for it, and I think i can maybe get it for $1500. We will see. The bike is MINT CONDITION!!!

Hi SpeedStar, those KTM seem to sell pretty quick in the UK, wouldn't of thought you would have to much trouble shifting it.
I know MortiisMachine, I am sure the right kind of rider will come around and it will be just what they are looking for. You are right though, I just need to get it over to the UK or Europe! I may just decide to keep it though.

Awesome bike, I would love to keep my current ride but can't justify running two so this ones gotta go to make room for the Super Ten. Good luck with your KTM sale if you decide to do it. Make sure you get some good pictures before she goes. :'(

Will do. Either the Strom or KTM should go, but it will be hard to bring me to either decision. Maybe I can sell the wife on the "need for three bikes"...I better start preparing that argument.

Congrats Jeff!!! I'm working on selling my KLR to help with the financing of the new S-10. MC sales are a little slow in Colorado when the temp is only 10 degrees!!

That's funny - I have both my bikes for sale right now as well. My 06 DL1K and my BMW. - to be replaced by the ST. I'll post a couple of pictures as well, maybe someone knows someone, that knows someone, that knows someone that's looking for 'em.

hey Colorider, Do you remember me from the ST days on my Yellow 1100, and Orange 1300? Dan Digiacomo was here visiting this past August. Do you still have a KLR and ST1300? DO you hear much from Whit Brown?

Absolutely Jeff!!! I'm still active on the liST and ST-O, although I no longer ride a ST. I sold my ST1300 about 3 years ago and rode DL's (650 and 1000) for a while before buying my present FJR. I've had my KLR a little over a year, but will be selling it as soon as I find a buyer. The $$ from it will help finance the S10.

Whit and I still ride together a lot - along with Chuck Henderson.

that is great you ride with whit and chuck. tell them both i have said hello. I too have just sold my DL1000. It was a good bike, but not like the Honda quality, although a different style of ride. I am looking forward to the S10 as the best of most riding styles, sport-touring, adventure touring, twisty road riding, and overall comfort. Going back to a shaft drive and ABS will be nice after the past couple of years on the chain. I never liked that part much.

I had many enjoyable miles (and smiles) on V-Stroms, including a GREAT trip to Alaska in '07. Years ago I used to own TransAlps and I always felt the V-Strom was everything the TransAlp should/could have been. The TA is all that now, but since all we ever got here in the US was the '89 and '90 vintage, they were always somewhat lacking.

I'm looking forward to the S10 and perhaps is may be MY ultimate bike that I have been searching for for the last umpteen years!!! ;D
