Hi Swagger, I've also got a 2006 MT-01. That is one bike that I really love and I do not think I will ever sell it. I am still regretting that I sold my 1977 XT 500 and I am not going to make the same mistake. There are just certain bikes that are so special and you will only know it if you’ve own one. I love my ST, but will always have a special soft spot for my MT-01.

I'm sat looking at a specially commissioned picture of my MT-01 alongside a P51 Mustang (Ferocious Frankie). I miss the bike soooooo much :'(
I will definitely buy another .... sooner rather than later. Are you on the MT Owners forum?

Insurance in winter sucks.... well then just move somplace better in the winter like, the Pacific North-WET!!!! I ride most of the year.

DO you have to dodge the bikers in August for Sturgis?

Not the best of photos but it's a photo of a picture. 36x24 canvas. I'll scan a smaller copy it'll look way better. But just look at that ..... absolute beauty in a bike :'( Tell me I'm wrong.

Swagger, I really wanted an MT-01 too but Yamaha said no since I live in Socal! I did have a Yamaha RoadStar Warrior though. Not the same but similar motor...
