I just put my Multi 1200 standard on the scales. 490 lbs standard with centerstand.

I pulled the Super Tenere up on the scales and . . . . . . Had to go check it again LOL . . . . . 541 lbs
So, seems the big heavy beast is only 51 lbs heavier than the lightweight Duc base model!

At this point I only have the topcase Givi tail rack installed and the receivers for the quick disconnect SW-Motech, Zumo mount and GPS + Autocom under the seat and about 2 gallons of gas. Wasp adjustable windshield mount, but that is like less than 1/2 lb.

Wow, that's really interesting! I don't have a good way to weigh a motorcycle, but I definitely feel like the Super10 is lighter than the NT700. I'd been assuming that feeling is due to the wide bars and longer everything just giving more leverage to move the slightly higher weight. The stock NT700 is supposed to be 562 lbs, IIRC. But if that's true, and your findings are also true, the Super10 really is lighter.

As I indicated in my ride report, the ST feels much like my XR600R (but with better suspension and more power)....and that bike weighed around 325lbs.

Hmmm, even allowing for the full tank of fuel used in the Yamaha specs, that is still lighter than the 575 specified.

Very interesting as often manufacturers underestimate weight. Another plus for an awesome ride!!
