Our annual “Hey it’s June; let’s go to the lake for a camp-n-ride” weekend just wrapped up. We shifted to a different lake about 4 hours south and the riding centered on one lane connectors to high country gravel and dirt.

Chuck – tail sweep, fire keep, assistant cook and dammit they’re making me go back to work Monday
Alan –ride it to the bone captain and assistant fire keep
Tom – caged cat in dire need of at least one more day’s riding
Jim – routemeister, chief cook and what you look like upon return from four days mocycle

All packed. Time ta go home.
Lake Sherwood Recreational facilities are still decent though well worn by time and overuse. Like most too popular campgrounds, the place is too crowded but the location kinda mitigates. Fantastic weather, even better roads, great friends, good eats…par excellent eats at Mumsie’s in Richwood…DO NOT MISS IT!...stop for homemade pie and java even if you aren’t hungry. Good time had by all.
