Hey folks, thought I would try and make a different post other then ones about how much trouble I'm having with my bike lol

I had a question about when using the ES adjustments are the most appropriate. For example, I know that you can adjust hard to soft, but when should you consider doing so? Is soft - 3 good for offroading versus on the street or other way around? Where or when would be appropriate for hard +3?

The second question was regarding the spring adjustment that you can set for one passenger or 2 passengers. Do you find the setting for one passenger too soft? I have it set up now on 2 passengers even though I ride by myself and the bike seems to handle better.

Thanks!

I've only been with it a year but....

I use soft -3 for the rough roads around here. Off road for me consists of dirt/gravel stuff and I keep it softer for that. Normal roads get std 0 and if I'm pushing it it goes to hard +1.

I keep the preload at rider+luggage. I'm 210 with gear and it seems to work for me. So far no wallowing, no scraping so I'm happy.

I weigh 320, so I use two riders no luggage. For rebound/dampening, -3/soft. With a passenger, two riders with luggage; 3/hard. Corners great, and goes over bumps like they aren't even there. Once you get hang of what setting work for which surfaces, you'll be amazed. I'm still fine tuning my settings.
