I have had this installed for a month or so and it's ::008:: ::008:: ::008::

I have this mounted on the Touratech adjustable mount (no where near as good as Wasp's btw); in fact if I could find a way to mount my GPS in the same spot, I would dump the Touratech adjustable mount in a heartbeat.

Even when replicating the stock shield mounting location the shield give very good protection, very minimal wind noise & buffeting. After mucking about with the adjustable mount I ended up having it raised up only about a inch higher than stock and just about the same angle and it's nice & quiet. I like it because it's still small, bu give much greater protection than stock and not a big barn door. I saw no difference in fuel mileage between this & the OEM shield as well.

The little 'flip' at the top of the screen really helps deflect the wind over the top (I'm 5'11" & 32" inseam) and my Arai XD3 is nice & quiet.

I will say the quality of the screen is not as good as the MRA's I have used, not bad really (I have one on my Tiger1050) but upon real close inspection there is a wave or two.

Can't be any worse than the Yamaha Touring windshield with the flip causing distortion about an inch or two below the top. I was very disappointed and will look at the shield as a replacement.

The waviness on the Powerbronze was down in the main body of the screen (around the mounts) that you don't even see. No problem in the 'flip' area as it is not pronounced like on the Yamaha Touring screen. If you look at the side view of the screen I posted, you can barely tell it's there. But it seems to work.

Thanks for the report stevepsd. I've been looking at the screen for the very same reasons that you describe. I will be using the stock mount for now with an Arai XD, hope just enough to cut the buffeting.

Steve, thank for the report. Did you purchase the windshield from PowerBronze in the UK or is there a USA vendor?

The Flip shield is 4.5 inches taller than the standard OEM windshield. Is the PowerBronze Flip shield any wider? There are many holes for adjustment. How many settings are available for the Tenere?

I bought the shield from the USA distributors ebay store http://stores.ebay.com/The-Superbike-Store-LLC?_trksid=p4340.l2563

Yes the Powerbronze shield is a couple of inches wider than the OEM, but not barn-door wide. Just enough. The screen has two sets of height adjustment holes, just like the stock shield.
