Hey everyone,
I guess it's about time I introduce myself on here. Picked up a killer deal last month on a new 2013 Tenere that I just couldn't pass up, so away with the ZX6R and hello adventure bike! Definitely an entirely different beast, but my wife (especially her backside!) and I are loving every mile of it! I'm hoping to find a solid deal on some good sized panniers soon. We love the idea of packing up and just going. We've talked about doing a big loop out west and back, hitting all the big sights and national parks for our next anniversary, so we'll see what happens until then. Right now, we're living on Scott Air Force Base which is about 20 miles outside of St Louis just in case anyone else is close by! I don't have any off-road experience to really speak of, aside from the occasional dirt bike or 4-wheeler ride, but I'm definitely excited to give it a shot.
From what I've seen thus far, there are a ton of knowledgeable folks on here willing to help where there can. With that said, I'm excited to be a part of the community, and hope to contribute the same.
