Would it even be possible to add an oil cooler to these puppies?

Wonder if it's even necessary? I always felt that cooling the oil would directly affect the longevity of the engine.

Ok vendors - maybe a oil cooler adapter plate off the oil filter housing some how? Get to work! 8)

cooling the oil is always a good thing, good for the engine and good for the oil. I am sure someone will come up with a filter base adapter. depending on the filter there may already be something around. who else uses the filter?

Cooler is not necessarily better - you want the oil at a temp high enough to boil off accumulated moisture. I'd bet that unless you are racing or riding in extreme conditions, that the stock system keeps the oil well within reasonable temp bounds. Water cooling and the S10's semi-dry-sump system probably help too. I doubt this is an area worth worrying about.

Some engines run hot, some not -
My dlk is liquid cooled and has an oil cooler. My son's yamaha 250 dirt bike is liquid cooled, but no oil cooler. go figure.
