OEM Top Box stuck

I've had the Yamaha Top Box and Side Boxes installed on my bike since I purchased it. I rarely take them off, but I decided to take a solo ride the other day and I could not get the Top Box to come off. The latch would release and I could pull it out, but the box would not budge. Has anyone else had this issue and if so what did you do?

Thanks for the links. After viewing I was able to get the top box off. I had to really pull the latch out to get it to release. I was afraid I was going to break something. Is this normal?

I think it’s kinda normal because mine also stick.
