Nova Scotia this year

Heads up to any body planning a Nova Scotia ride in late August. Glace Bay will be SWAMPED with riders around/during the 3rd week of August. The Hoka Hey Challenge 48 state/3 country motorcycle rally/race will end in Glace Bay on Aug 21. WOW! San Diego to Nova Scotia passing through 48 states! Sounds like one hellova ride! Maybe in a few years when I have all 4 of my kids through college.

A friend of mine did the Key West to Alaska Hoka Hey last year, it was American made air cooled v twins only. His stories and photos of full dressers attempting 300 to 400 miles of secondary roads through Canada and Alaska are entertaining to say the least. 300 miles from the finish his transmission officially withdrew from the race. :'( He rented a car and drove the rest of the way. The man is one of my heros. If he can get enough sponsors he will try it again this year.
