Got up this morning and the temp was in the 30's. Not bad, little wind and bright blue skies. I started out to get some pics for the Moto Tag.
Saw some dead Coyotes and took a pic..

Next on the stop was a restaurant, meeting up with other like minded souls..
Found a few ST's and a bunch of other bikes. This was a monthly pie run put on by the Two Wheeled Texans forum.
More were at the Meridian state park, having camped last night and tonight.
Great bunch of people. It looks like the riding season has started in Texas. Sorry Rem... Really,,, ::025::

After eating a good breakfast, they brought out the pie.. Peanut Butter for me.. Really great..

After saying Adios, I had the hard task of more riding.. It was hard to do, but I was able to adapt and over come.. ::26:: ::26::

Japako you were in my neck of the woods. My 2nd home is between Hico and Meridian. No shortage of good roads out that way. Man I miss living there with all that great riding just out my driveway. I was in Hico yesterday, took my wife there to get a root canal (ouch). I'd say you had a better time than we did.

Root canal, dang!! Give your wife my best wishes.. Been there done that..
Yep, the area is really good for North Texas. Lot's of good county and fm roads. It also helps if I slow down. Lots of neat things to see. ::26::

I wish Iowa had some get togethers like that. must be nice. this is my ride for today.
I wondered how much snow Iowa got Thrusday. We were just north of you in Maquokata looking at a car Thursday afternoon and as we headed south out of there, it started snowing heavily. We were in my Miata turbo and it isn't a very good snow car. We made it down to I 80 and headed east as it turned to rain. Looks like we got out just in time.

I lived in Montgomery Texas from 1998-2007. I miss the awesome Two Wheeled Texans pie runs and get-togethers. And typically we'd have 10+ assorted motorcycles, all TWT members out on long day trips. Those were some fun times.
