Howdy y'all

I recently met a member from here and bought his S10 farkles. Also found some useful info on here so thought i'd 2015join. I'll be looking for Altrider crash bars, if I can add oem cruise to my '12, some tech info, and hopefully read about cool rides. Located in Toronto.

Hi All

I am from Dublin and have just joined the forum.

I have had many Yamahas over the last 20 years including older stuff like XS650, XS750, XS850, TRX850 and XJ700 Maxim Xs. More modern bikes include FJRs, Bulldog, XT660R, a TMax scooter and GL1800 Goldwing. I have done loads of farkles and a fair bit of restoration and rebuilding. Trips have included most of Europe, Morocco and US west coast.

So now I am picking up a new XT1200ZE on the 4th January. Read loads about the bike and saw it coming out of the crate yesterday. I am very excited about the new arrival and taking it on this summer's trip to Corsica and that genera area. It seems to be the perfect do it all bike.

Best regards to all

Thanks for the welcome. Ive used the search function on here to the best of my ability but can't seem to find if someone has posted the parts needed to add oem cruise to my 2012 S10. I saw an FJR attempt never completed and the simple solution of buying the 14+ but just wondering if there is a parts list needed to convert the 14 cruise to mine. Im assuming eco and bar control for starters, but not sure where to go from there... or who to ask?

Short answer is, the 14+ cruise can not be be retrofitted to the 13 and earlier bikes. You would have to look at the Rostra or the Audiovox (if you can find one).

There was a thread here about using the newer switch cluster when it debuted on the FJR to control an aftermarket cruise...
