Hey everyone my name is Cooper and I have just purchased my first enduro bike. I recently bought a 2014 yamaha YZF-r6 and I just traded it in today on a Super Ténéré. Rode it home and loved it. Now the question is what upgrades should I do first? Look forward to talking with everyone and if your in the Austin area I am up for a ride sometime.

A big ::004:: from here in the UK.

We did managae to get to Texas a few years back, doing Route 66 on a Street Glide, but only across the panhandle.

Great memories though - brings it all back each year, when we watch the Moto GP from Austin. Enjoy that Super 10............. ::001::

Cooper, congrats on the bike and welcome to the forum. I'm up in DFW but need to get down to Austin to visit my nephew at some point.

Not sure what kind of riding you intend to do. If any off road is involved, suggest you get some crash bars and a decent skid plate. I was lucky in that I bought mine used and it already had Altrider bars/skid plate installed. The first mod I did was a Stebel airhorn since I commute almost daily. It keeps grandma in her lane when she starts drifting. ::008::

Cooper, welcome to the forum from another DFW guy. For me it was skid plate, crash bars...which is a horrible name for them, luggage and a taller windshield.

And then when winter rolled around I wanted the heated grips.
