Very happy new owner of a 14 ES. This bike flippin ROCKS!!!! Coming from a DL 650 the past six years to this is like going from a Kia to a Porsche. ::012:: ::012:: Don't get me wrong, the Vstrom has been a great bike, 43,000 very happy, reliable miles but WOW this bike is worlds more refined in every possible way. Let the fun begin. I look forward to learning about this bike and all the tech help/info from this forum so thanks in advance. This looks to be a great forum.

Welcome and congrats on the bike. If you like it now, you'll love it later. The bike gets better as the miles add up.

Congrats, Kevin.

You ain't seen nothin' yet. This bike truly gets better with age.

Enjoy the new ride and welcome to the site. You will find just as many helpful guys as you did on Trooper.

Greetings from Texas. Grew up in Fort Wayne. Indy is a cool town and has really blown up in the last 10 - 15 years,

Welcome aboard Indyrider, I'm down in Madison and presently riding around Alaska. If you ever head south let me know some great roads this way.

Thanks Jim,
I love southern Indiana. All my fun runs are down that way from Rising Sun to Tell City, Bedford, Nashville, etc. Thankfully none are too far away. Have a fun and safe trip in AK. I've had some epic fishing trips out of Seward. Beautiful state.

Thanks! The racing scene in Indy has really amped up the last few years. It's a great weekend. I'll definitely be out for at least one of the days.

I've just hit a 100 miles and still trying to dial in the suspension. Definitely need risers and grip puppies, but man oh man do I love that throttle and torque!! ::012:: Handling is very solid and well planted. Did I mention the torque!! It even sounds pretty good, not as good as my Vstrom with an Akrapovic but man oh man that torque!!
