The toe box is a bit wide with little adjustment down low. Can be a bit of a dance to get them on and be certain the material does not bunch up on you...but then again, getting my Vortice's on is even a sweeter dance in full leathers.

Have not had them off road, but they are comfortable for longer trips and even used them to go to dinner with some friends. Love sturdiness and the protection SIdi gives ya.

OK got back into town today and my new boots were sitting there on my desk (with a bunch of other stuff lol) and i have fatter than average feet and these things fir perfect, tight to get on but they are new i like the way they feel when you walk in them and they will be great once broken in, with nike tennis shoes i have been known to wear a wide altho last time out i just got a regular pair, i have the 12 icon and wear a 12 tennis shoe so they are about right for fit altho slightly bigger which is good coz i want to be able to wear thick socks with them!

looks like i get to test out how waterproof they are on the way home tonight too ::013::

Ordered a pair Gaerne Adventure boots and got them last week. The fit (10 US 44.5 UK) was a little bit on the large side, but that gives my feet breathing room without feeling like they are too loose. I can also wear two pairs of socks if it gets cold enough. I wore them on a 100+ mile ride to Freeport (TX) on Saturday and thought they were comfortable both on the bike and while walking around on dirt, gravel, and hard surfaces. I wouldn't want to run a marthon in them, but I think they are great boots...and got them for a decent price. Are they the same boots as the SIDIs? Probably not, but at more than $100 less I think these will provide more bang for the buck than the SIDIs. Time will tell. They're also "waterproof", but haven't tested that yet.

Just my own opinion, of course 8)
