Hello all. Taking delivery of a new 2015 S10 ES next week, and yes, I'm like a kid waiting for Christmas day ::016::
Used this great forum for research before buying and will be hanging around.
Trading up from an 09 Vstrom 1000 that i have done 70,000 km on in the last 5 years. Previous bike was a 955 Tiger and it's fair to say that i am hooked on this style of bike. Anything, anytime, anywhere......love it. Also use my Vstrom to tow a trailer carrying my Berg 570 to the trails so will be building a tow hitch directly for the new S10. Pic attached. Yes, i know.........it's an addiction.......what can i say.......... ::021::
I am aware of all the usual farkles and power mods but are there any minor details that anyone would advise addressing on a new S10?

Keep ya knees in the breeze ::001::

Welcome, nice set up you have going. I have to say it's not everyday you see a motorbike towing another.

Welcome along mate. How's the new ride going? I bought my '14 ES new in July 15. Its going in for it's 10k service next week. I traded up from 125,000km on 2 VStrom 1000s. These bikes are chalk and cheese. The SuperTen is a far better bike of the two any way you measure them, and despite an extra 200cc my fuel consumption is about 20% lower than the best I ever got on the Vstrom.

No problems mate: next time...

Came from the V-Strom also, lovin' the S10, it's the bike I always wanted.

I often do a run to Canungra for breakfast on a Sunday, I'll let you know next time I go...
