Hey guys, I purchased a set of OEM Pannier for my 2015 and I am running into a couple of problems. On the right side passenger foot peg, there is an additional bracket along with some sort of filter. This is not shown in the installation instructions. Not sure if the new parts instal between the existing brackets or on the back. Also, the instructions indicate that the heat shield needs to be removed on 2014+ models, but I am confused as to why.

If anyone has experience with the OEM Pannier Install on a 2015, I would love to get your input. I am at a loss here. Pictures would help, but I can't find them anywhere on this site or google.

Thanks.

One of the support brackets that adds strength to the passenger footrest and mounting bracket goes in place of the shield. With the shield in place the bracket doesn't sit flush against the foot rest and the luggage mount.

Thanks. Now that I look at it, that should have been pretty obvious. Left side is done. Now onto the right side. This one has me a bit more perplexed.

Wow! Once I got into it, it was MUCH more easy that I expected. I feel silly that I let something so simple slow me down. Duh! From past experience, I should have known that it is best to just get in and get my hands dirty. It's usually pretty simple to figure out. I was a little gun shy, so I didn't even try. It looked different than the manual, so my brain came to a screeching halt. Once I got the foot rest assembly away from the bracket (which only took one bolt) it was all very clear.
