For those who may have not seen this. The National Motorcycle Museum in Anamosa is scheduled to permanently close on September 5 2023. Really nice museum, lots of different kinds of bikes and lots of motorcycle history. I have been there several times and will go there again before they close. Check it out if you're anywhere nearby. Admission is reasonable and there are decent hotels nearby.

I’ve toured the museum about 5 times, it’s always something different, about $8 admission, definitely hoping to stop there a couple more times before it closes.

I did this stop along with Field of Dreams and the John Deere museum. Iowa has a lot to offer if you take a bit to explore. Make the trip to the motorcycle museum when you can, it's well worth it!

Sorry to see it go, I stopped there a couple summers ago and was very impressed with what they had on display. IIRC that green KLR had circumnavigated the globe at least once.
