Time to post for the next event for the Pacific Northwest Tenere folk. March 15th at my place on the pennisula, we have put together a bunch of stuff for you all so here's hoping we get as many coming out. On a brighter note, by March it will be daylight longer :))
We have someone coming out for some offroad clinic type stuff (slow speed, obstacles, balance, etc.) There is even enough room to do some of the stuff we will be talking about. It looks like we also have Alex from Konflict Motorsports coming over for a suspension setup clinic also. This is a potluck style event with a BBQ that will be open for anything you want to burn. Depending on time of the clinics and how much daylight we have left we are looking at a ride later that afternoon or if the clinics are going so well that we don't have that much time we can do the ride on Sunday ::26::
Plenty of tent space available. For those that don't have my address off of the PNW Super Tenere owners facebook page, PM me. Going to be a blast!!! ::015::

If there is anything specific anyone would like to know on suspension please let me know. If you are interested in setting sag properly, price on front fork rebuild, heavier or lighter front springs, rear shock work let me know so we can pass along these questions to ALex. If you want to have the sag set there on site, please come loaded as if you are on a trip or the way you normally ride.

Jeff, can Alex prep two options to share with us?

1 - full front rebuilt and rear shock options
2 - springs only for fork and shock

Both. I like to know what I'm getting and the cost.

he modified the shim stacks, utilized the stock valving, as Yamaha are alright for my application where the shims provided the flow rates needed. My fork springs were replaced as well as seals. The OEM springs are progressively wound, so that went away.
I know, this isn't as detailed as needed, just what i know at this point.

Hey folks, less than 2 weeks now ::012:: This is going to be a great event and a lot of info to be had. Garage space aplenty for those that want to tinker/farkle. Alex Martens is definitely coming at this point and will talk all about suspension setup and things that are going on. There is a good stretch of road that you can down and back on to test settings for anyone that makes adjustments. We are also going to be doing some offroad skill drills and technique development later in the afternoon. There is so much informational stuff at this point that we are doing the ride on Sunday now. Plenty of yard space for anyone that wants to setup camp as well. As per the initial post this is a BBQ open for what you want to bring and cook kind of deal. There will be some snacks and water stuff on hand also. Since we have some professional folks coming out to give us some of their valuable time we are asking the attendees to kick in $20 so we can divide the collection between the two. Come if you can, it's going to be awesome. Please let me know if you are coming so I can get an estimated head count. Thanks.

Interested in joining you fron Portland. I'd need info on schedule, camping, food availability, facilities, etc. I'm still breaking in my S10 but should have 600 miles in before next weekend.
