Really easy.

Shifter: loosen the jam nuts on the connecting rod from the shift lever to the trans, then turn the rod until the shifter is where you want it. Tighten the jam nuts. One of them is a left hand thread so its left tight, right loose. Be sure that you can twist the rod sightly after tightening. If you can't, loosen one jam nut, and adjust as necessary.

Brake pedal: You can adjust the master cylinder push rod at the clevis at the rear of the pedal. Loosen top jam nut, then adjust the rod. There are some wrench flats just below the rubber dust seal.

I'll hazard a guess you live in Valparaiso. Nice town. I lived there for a while in the late 80's and still have a few friends there. Do they still have the Popcorn Festival?

Funny I lived in Oceanside and North County for 20 years, yes they still have the popcorn fest. I will be out that way in May to see my son graduate boot camp and visit family and friends.

When you are finished with the brake adjust, make sure your brake light is not on all the time.

Let me know when you're here. We'll have a beer and talk Tenere!
