Jesse luggage 2014 non Es brackets

Hi. I just installed a new Jesse luggage set on my 14 Tenere. The top loop of the exhaust side rack actually touches the cover. When I mounted the luggage, the pressure plate seems to be about 1/8 to long and rubs the guard when it is rotated into the lock position. Has anyone else run into this? Jesse changed the design of the pressure plate, locking lever and black polymer block. I can file the pressure plate with no problem. I sent an email to Jesse also. If anyone has any advice with Jesse, let me know.

Exactly. I guess they have to use their remaining stock first before they redesign the latching mech. I would think that buying one of the most expensive systems out there that the engineering would be better. If our customers had to spend their own time and money to redesign and fix our equipment we sell, we wouldn't last too long. Otherwise I am pleased with the boxes. Here is a pic of mine installed. I'll make the mods next week when I have time.

One more thing I noticed. If they made the top loop on the exhaust side just a tiny bit smaller in diameter it would not be touching the shield and would be a cleaner design. But I'm wondering if the use the same bracket loops for all the bikes.
