Intro - SERGUTI from Toronto!

Hi all, I just moved to Toronto (ON) Canada from Argentina (Buenos Aires)! I used to ride a BMW GS800 (2009) and made 100.000Km (62.000 Miles) in the last 4 years. Also had Honda Africa Twin 750 (60.000Km) and Honda Transalp 600 among others... I like riding alone most of the time but I usually go to gatherings if they are at a good distance from home. As you all know WINTER IS COMING!!... but I just bought a 2016 Super Tenere!! and the dealer told me there are only 3 Super Tenere in Canada :'( is there anyone from Canada on the forum....

I'm planning to go to Alaska in 2016... but will enjoy to ride to the US too...
My longest ride in 1 day was 1600Km (1000mi) in my GS800... here is the video of that ride https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CJEnj8ImNs8

there are bunches of Canadian owners with Canadian Super Teneres in the country and here on the forum,
from Whitehorse in the Yukon to Vancouver and the Island, lots of us in Alberta, Calgary in particular, across the prairies, to the east coast...
we are here.....

while I was trying to find a way to access a list of Canadian YST Members, which just I cannot figure out,

I zeroed in on the disservice of your dealers comment... [even if said jokingly]

IMO the YST is a fine machine, I'm already on my second and I'm not alone in that,
the community is tight when it needs to be, also relaxed and helpful, with a place to stay when your traveling by,
or to buy you a good cup of coffee, or to show you some of where we ride,... but otherwise you'll be catching a thumbs up as as I ride by,
AND you'll never find my mat silver /blue trim 2015 Yamaha Super Tenere ES at the starbucks, ever.....
