There's an XV920 (the chain drive one) on Craigslist right now in PA under the Twin-tiers heading. If someone wants one, this is the one to get.

That thing reaches pretty deep inside me and has an appeal at a core level.

My first motorcycle ride ever was at a very young age on a Yamaha DT with my uncle. Been hooked ever since.

Don't know if I could justify buying one if it were available, but not sure I could resist either.

Thanks for the link.

Just an FYI... The same guy who did the subject of this thread has built another cool and unique take on a Yamaha V-twin - http://www.yamahasupertenere.com/index.php?topic=9635

And for you folks that might be interested, I've found that "Doc's Chops" is now called "Hageman Motorcycles" - http://hagemanmc.com/ - after the owner/builder, Greg Hageman.

Make sure you make note of the "Hageman" logo... Looks just like the original Yamaha DT-1 tank badge, doesn't it?

It's worth checking out his "Current" and "Past" projects. The guy definitely has a unique eye.
