So yes is the simple answer I'm "One of the IBA UK Guy's" ::008:: and have spoken to PHil about his tank.
Knew you were of the sickness, it's easy to spot since I have the same illness. ::025::
The thing is when you have some great skilled people over there in the USA why struggle over here trying to keep up, I say find the best and stick with em! J's the Man for me thank you very much
Oh, I have no doubt Jaxon will do an excellent job, its what he does. He has 'mad skilz' as the youngsters say. Glad the project is working out and moving forward. I'm going the opposite direction with a fuel cell in the rear, similar to my previous FJR's Tanji cell. It will be fun watching your project and J's work progress.

Looks like the new tank is on the way to the shop for some surgery... There will be many pictures sent to JAP STI 3.. im sure he will post on his blog the progress.. We have completed this job many times before. I'm excited to do this job and add the fuel to the Super Tenere. Anyone has any questions post, PM, or Email... Thanks ~ Jaxon

No, reducing to 2.5 gallons and using a new, super-high density adventure fuel. >:D

The question is US or UK Gallons.................... :question: I was looking for 5 Litres + 10 would have been great but distorted the "Original Look" of the tank too much.
Hey anything in the region of 300 mile radius and I wil be happy so need to find fuel for another 54 miles = on my bike 1 UK Gallon as I average 56.5 miles to the gallon acording to the onboard trip. ::008::

Chuffed the tank arrived in great time and order. £220 for a Brand New Tank is what you call a FANTASTIC Start to any project ::015::

I'll keep everyone updated through the blog and on here but for the time being "Trinity" has taken centre stage on the blog as I've just had her appear in this months Fast Bike Magazine in the UK March Issue in Chatter (its the letters page but who cares) so re-posted last Trinity entry with full links listin.

There are just over 1gal to 4L... I thought you asked for 10L... It will end up probably being really close to 7-8L
1 L = 0.264 gal
2 = 0.528
3 = 0.793
4 = 1.057
5 = 1.321
6 = 1.585
7 = 1.849
8 = 2.113
9 = 2.378
10 = 2.642

Hi J, yes I did ask for 10Lt originally and that would be great but having spoken and read what you said I'm happy with as much as you can give me retaining the "Stock" look.
7 -8 Lt will be fantastic. Can't wait ::008::
