Looking at the Revzilla set doesn’t have the additional springs. Better to have them for a tune feel to your preferences and leads me to think the Barnett set would be better.

That Revzilla kit isn't for the Super Tenere, it's for the Yamaha Roadstar. You can save $20 on Ebay, but I would just buy directly from Barnett.

O don’t think you are asking me but that’s never stopped me so, I used 3 hard, 3 soft because I’d read on here somewhere that a different combination had caused slip. I don’t think it was slip I think it was T-mode and the delayed throttle response. In S mode after the Barnett 3x3 combo I could probably pull power wheelies if I tried. Or was 20. But yeah, no slip. I also have a shorter than stock 2 finger lever but no issues with the pull. It’s firmer but your forearm will get used to it.

Are those clutch pack vibrations from the springs really that noticeable?
The roads around here aren’t flash so I’m probably spending more time avoiding what NASA refers to as “craters” to feel clutch vibrations.

Also: is the change from the diaphragm style clutch to the Barnett variant worth it?

Idk that video is just a good ref for swap. No idea what issue he is fixing tbh. I accepted this thing sounds like a bucket of bolts.

The swap is worth it if you want clutch feel... kinda the whole point of the thread. If you like the clutch as is save your money, and time.

I can certainly tolerate the clutch as it is and have no issues with it… I can’t help myself sometimes in wanting to improve something that I plan to keep for many years though…

I did install the slave cylinder asked by OP about 6000 km ago. Yes, it improves the clutch feel significantly, but it does not get much lighter. However, I can ride now the whole day frequently pulling the clutch and have no problems with my fingers in the end of the day. It was not so with the stock clutch.

Well now I want that too lmao. I'll do one at a time still waiting on the barnett stuff. Put an extended braided line on her when I get to.

Easy install.

Clutch engagement is at the end of the throw now which will make control standing way better.

Firmer more positive pull.

Idk about more feeling but it's worth doing. Gonna start looking into that slave cyl now.

Only went down the block will see later.

Looks like you used the soft springs? How does tension feel compared to stock?

Negative half short (soft) half tall (stiff). It is a harder pull then stock but not as bad as an old harley.

Feels like a much more normal clutch now. It actually does transfer some vibration now so you can kinda feel when she is bitting.

Engaging the clutch is now basically a flick. Using two fingers is now possible with me big monke hands.

Still getting used to it.
