For the first time I had my wife on the back because I wanted to show her these amazing Clearwater lights at night. When she got on they of course were higher as the rear shock compressed. I got off and started cranking up the preload on the rear shock. It was a bit tough but then it got really easy... as in nearly no resistance at all! Did something let loose? Did the plastic knob strip out? You guys have any ideas? How difficult is it to remove the shock on the S10 or to re-spring it? I have a feeling that with my 260# plus riding gear it is fine... but add being m packed up for a trip to Alaska and another month of wandering the rear shock will be under sprung and I need a better shock or at least a better spring in the meantime.
