I'm on my first road trip with the S10. Olympic Peninsula to Northern California. The S10 is killing it! Love the bike for this purpose.

I consider myself a relatively light packer. I.e. I don't have a lot of extras. Just the basics for camping and 4 days of t-shirts/boxers/socks. A few freeze dried meals and a handful of odds and ends.

Although I don't notice the weight of the luggage when riding, I was surprised at the weight when removing the luggage

I've got SW Motech Trax that weighs in at 65lbs, empty, for all 3 cases (according to SW Motech website). I'm guessing fully loaded, they're well over 100lbs not sure how close to 150lbs they are. I'm curious to weigh them when I get to my destination.

I'm eyeing a Giant Loop set up even harder now. I could easily save 50 lbs right there.

Well...They're only 90lbs loaded. Haha. But they sure feel a lot heavier than ~30lbs each after a day of riding...or it's time to hit the gym...

Still, I'd love to lose some of that weight...

Fully loaded and ready to camp and eat anywhere, I’m probably in the 50-60 Lb range.
All my gear is “back packing / lightweight equipment”

What do you use for luggage?

How much does your sleeping bag, pad, and tent weigh?

I've also got backpacking oriented gear, but not the newest or highest end. E.g. my sleeping bag is old and more like 4 lbs, not 1.5...

Hello. I have touratech bags. The old style. My sleeping bag is about 2 Lb
I’ll have to actually weigh individual items. I actually carry a lot of junk but it’s small and lightweight.
