I have a 69 Honda 350 that I've owned it for a few years. Its been up in the racks for the last year or so. I'm thinking of pulling it down and messing with it again. The motor is shot and needs to be re worked. Has anyone on this board rebuild the 350 motor, I have a few questions and would like to bounce off a few ideas. I like many of the older bikes for sure...

That'd be a great project for you. My Dad has a 69 350 street scrambler that he bought new. It hasn't ran in years and it just sits. I'd love to bring it back to life but its all I can do to keep my current stable going.

Hey Jaxon,

That sounds like a good project.
I like the old honda twins. I had a 71 SL175 that I ran the wheels off of and friends had 350's. Rebuilt twins a few times.

I also have a old Clymer 125-350cc twin 1964-1973 Service and Repair Manual I could send you if you need it.

I've rebuilt a pile of them, when they were new bikes. I thought for a while that was my role in the universe.

PM me and we can talk......

Great minds think alike and fools seldom differ: I just retrieved my daughter's old learner bike that was rotting away at her place. (Marriage, kids, degree, hose redo got in the way of riding, so it sat for seven plus years. Yellow Jello in the carbs! Great!)

If I can salvage the poor thing, it is going to be a Street Scrambler. Cheaper than a pristine old CL Honda and much more so than a new Triumph! Right now, it is a corroded, rusty, non-runner with a title. I'd say about $25.00 a ton in value.

Thanks guys... I'm finishing up some custom bikes and hope to pull the little Honda out of the rack real soon... I've got a few Ebay parts heading my way. Looking forward to getting this little bike out on the road this next spring... I will be in touch for sure ! Thanks again ! ::008::

A buddy picked up my new motor in CO today. I should have it next month, and pop that sucker in. I'll post some pictures soon.
