These things will mount low and tight on the H&B crashbars, and the way they slot in, barely need anything to hold them on... (I will do something though, not sure what yet)

Wow, that is a nice match! I still like the look of those bars too. I assume they do allow removal of the side panels with the bars in place too?

Yes, very easy. Haven't tried the left side yet but from looking at it shouldn't be a problem as long as cover removal is more or less the same as the right.

That does look cool - I have a couple of those Agri supply things too. I wonder if they'll fit on the Altrider bars some how.

Thought I would take a couple of quick pics of these tubes on an Altrider placement. I think it would need some kind of flat bar attached to the altriders then support the tubes from that.
Great Idea though. I was trying to figure out placement for these things.

Yes, I spent some time on that too - I was hoping to install them the inside of the Jesse racks or bags, but they won't fit. Turns out this is a better location anyway - lower, tighter and up front.

Guys, another cool thing about the Agri-Supply tubes is that they are exactly the right size to store a couple of the 1-liter MSR (or similar) fuel bottles. Two of these and you have an elegent and relatively safe way of carrying a 1/2-gal emergency fuel reserve.

....as I was reading your post, I thought you were going to say something useful like they'll store a twenty sixer of booze in them quite nicely, but no luck. I will try it though :D ::025:: ::025::

I bought one of these agri-supply manual canisters to replace my KL250 tool tube. If you don’t want that gold paint on there (side and cap), it comes right off with a little solvent. I used MEK and didn’t even need to scrub it.

Going to see how they work with the Givi.
Brntrt...I have the Givis too. Wasn't thinking of doing a tool tube because I have cases, but if you came up with an install solution, maybe I'll change my mind. :)

The Givis mount almost the same with the tubes. I used 2 rubber lined 1 inch clamps for the rear (slung the rubber clamp over the Givi's bar and then bolted the clamp portion to the Agri tube) and then in the front I used a 1 i nch stainless steel U bolt which bolts to the Givi bar. I lined up the u-bolt with the tube, drilled two holes, and fed the u-bolt through the tube and siliconed the areas where the bolt came through.

But mine looks way better than the above because I removed the hideous "operators printing" with some brake cleaner....you can use acetone ((nail polish remover) if you have that laying around in your garage as well. Wet, rub, rub and over it come the yellow print to reveal a nice black tube.
