Hello from Virginia

Hello Folks,

I recently bought a 2013 Tenere. Got a great deal from Blalock Cycle in Warrenton VA. I bought the bike after some peer pressure from my buddy who rides a 1200 GS. So I sold my Aprilia Mille (I should have kept it for the track) and got the S10. The first weekend for the bike was a steady diet of twisties in the Shenandoah valley and some great fire roads, so I am close to 600 miles and ready for the first service. I miss the power of the Aprilia but I don't miss the riding position for long rides. I really dig my S10... It was less than half of the 1200gs from a price perspective and close enough in performance to make me smile.. Here is a pic of the new S10 with my buddies farkled 1200 on top of the rt 33 Mountain at the VA/WVA border.

Welcome Scott! Come to the rally in Arkansas in Oct. Good chance to win some great luggage or at least buy some cheap. It's good to see all the farkles you maybe interested in. If you like twisties Ark. is right up there with WV. Good time hanging out and bring your GS bud too.

Congrats!! I was a Pendleton County, WV resident for 6 years - just a few clicks to the west of where your pic was taken.
