Wife and I got a wild hair this morning and decided to head to Colorado. We go past Trinidad almost every year ( last four) on our annual motorcycle trip, but never stopped here. So tomorrow we'll check it out. The drive from Clayton NM is pretty, pretty slow. Safety corridor(?), how about speed trap. 55mph and I can see for 50 miles in any direction..... It is a pretty drive, and you will have lots of time to see it all. Hope you all have a great weekend.
10 hrs to get here btw.

Just got back home from Colorado, what a whirl wind trip of 1530 miles on a three day weekend. Saw it all from snow in the Rockies, dust storm in the Pan Handle of Texas and thunderstorms as we got about three hours from the house. I'm envious of you Colorado boys and all the dual sport roads you have available.

Hey, next time you cross the border into Colorado, try to make it a little farther north up my direction! Lots of great roads available all over the state(at least west of I-25).
