Hello from South Florida!

Hello there guys!

My name is Mariano, I'm an Argentinian living in south florida for almost 9 month.

I left behind on my country an Yamaha XT 660 '08. I loved that bike but my real dream was always a supertenere. My uncle-grandfather made it around the world on XT 500. (Bernd Tesch) so is in my blood, the love for bikes and for yamaha

One week ago I went out asking on dealers about the Supertenere. I got angry when they charge me the "build" and even 3.5 mandatory dollars for air pressure.... So I find a guy on craiglist and the next thing I know I was putting the license plate on my supertenere. (on the attachment, its me with my bike).

So. I dont want to bored you guys. So much to tell , so much joy to share...

I wasn't a fan of forums on specific bike, but know that I have the bike of my dreams I know this is my last bike

Congrats and welcome to the forum. So the dealer was seriously going to charge you $3.50 to put air in the tires? Never heard of that before. I know some will charge for putting nitrogen in the tires but that's a rip-off too.

Yup. I list the dealer of south florida from the official page of yamaha. The nearest was this one... he showed the list of things, and I say 2x3.5 I asked what was that... he told me "the cost of check the tire's air pressure". They wanted to charge me even the transport from the yamaha deposit to the dealer....
