Hello,
I go by Bill. I am from Eldon, Mo. Just 12 miles from the Lake of the Ozarks. I am 60 years old and bought the Tenere to be my traveling bike when I retire. My old Venture has 106000 miles on it and will continue to be my main work bike. I had a DR650 for about 7 years and enjoyed having it but decided that I enjoy riding back paved roads a lot more than gravel. About 30 0r 40 miles of gravel in a day is plenty. I enjoy going to southern Mo and northwest Ar. The Ozark foothills start just south of me so I have some good riding close to me. Been lurking for a while and decided to come out of hiding. My Super Tenere is a 2013. I had been thinking about and watching them since they became available here. In October this one with about 4000 dollars in accessories and 36000 miles became available and I bought it.

Hey Bill, I traded in my RSTD in for a Tenere and haven't looked back. Just got tired of a heavy bike. Liked the V4 engine though.
Enjoy those great roads you have around you!

Welcome Bill. The Tenere should serve you well. How lucky are you, soon to be retired and close to some of the best riding in the country. Enjoy! ::004::

Ho Bill from Des Moines. I had a Tour Deluxe and you may rethink the main work bike. I now also have a Stratoliner but that small cheap Tenere is just so comfortable that it is my main bike.

Hello from S.E. IA - love traveling to Branson and areas South of Osage. Wife and I found a bunch of springs down in SE MO and NE AR - rode the ferry across at Boal Shoals and then over to Branson. Great roads down there - enjoy the tenere
