Hello y'all

Looking to buy a ST (in US and Thailand) in the near future.
Found a 2013 model I'm interested in.
Thought I would join to get a head start on the specifics of the bike, etc...
Work oilfield rotations so I have a lot of time to ride.
I also spend a great deal of time in Thailand and am looking for ST owners there as well.

For Bangkok and other dense urban cities there yes, especially if you carry bags.

I rock a Scoopy 150 in/around our place in Bangkapi.
It's sweet to blow in/out/between rush hour traffic there.

But the gf and I are venturing out more towards the north (Chiang Mai, Khon Kaen, etc...) and I'm done with trains and buses.
The south is pretty easy to jump ferries from island to island also.

Will probably ship one to gf's sis/bro-in-laws name since they're both cops and would make importing less of a hassle.
Last time I saw a new 2014 advertised they were asking 840,000 BHT(25K USD).
No way I'm paying that! ???
