Has anyone fitted the Heal Tech indicator? If so, I'd appreciate installation tips and pics. I had one on a previous bike and it worked quite well. I know it's not essential, but I like to know which gear I'm in, just as I like to add an LED voltmeter.

Thanks for the link, but it looks like your installation is with a SpeedHealer which I do not want to install. On my other bike (Honda) the installation of the gear indicator is plug'n'play.. Would this installation be plug'n'play if a Speed Healer is not installed?

Read the article in the link. It shows the install of the speedhealer AND/OR gear indicator. ::010::

The S10 wiring is a bit different than your Honda so the same type of plug and play version you were able to use before wont work this time. Have to go with the Gipro X type, which is still pretty simple to install.

Good luck!

No plug and play. I installed the speedDRD and gear indicator, they must be done as in the writeup or it will not work. The blue wire must be cut.

UPDATE: Thinking back, I believe I had to cut the blue wire for the SpeedDRD hookup, and gear indicator came after the cut. So, maybe you can just tap into the blue wire and it will work, I would check that first.
