I can find comparisons of almost everything else online. Tires, Motorcycles, Navi's, even engine oil. I can't find anything comparing hard panniers. Does anyone have any leads for me?

I like the bracket by sw motech because it is easily removed. Maybe I wouldn't ever remove the bracket, but it sounds cool to have that option. As far as boxes I like the look of the touratech and the givi Trekker.
There is a guy local to me that makes boxes in his Shop. They are priced about half of the others. He doesn't have a web site but you can find him on Facebook at solobox.
I've got to save up for a while, so I have plenty of time to decide. First on my list is a taller windshield and an improved seat.

Same with the Hepco & Becker brackets. They have similar quarter-turn bolts that allow the entire frames to come off.

I recently bought and fitted the Touratech boxes some of the features that I like are:
- Lids can hinge open from both ends
- Lids can be completely removed
- The attachment system is fantastic
- very light weight (compared to OEM boxes)
- Lots of accessories/attachments available
