Anybody make them for the S10 like Touratech for the GS? About 2 inches higher on top would be awesome for us cool climate riders. The stock ones arn't adjustable. If I could get them to come up higher all would be good. Oh hey while I'm at it, whats the story with the Rear Brake Overflow being stuck under the rear fender where it can get beat to death with crap flying off the back wheel. Anybody build a Guard? Maybe it could be mounted farther out. May have to look at that. Tks.

I don't recall anyone mentioning a guard for the rear master cylinder. Good idea though!!!

On the guards, Justbob did some sort of improvised mud flap extension thing on his hand guards late last year. Actually I thought it turned out pretty good. Post 535 and pics in 539 in the What you did to your Tenere today? thread.

Otherwise, I haven't seen anything around the forum on that.

Thanks justbob. My handguard extensions came out a little higher than yours but will work good. I'll cut them down a little this summer. Also found a really cool spot for the Rear Brake cylinder reservoir. Its now mounted on the inside of the rear footpeg bracket. There is even screw holes in the back of the bracket to bolt it to with a 6mm bolt. Have to be careful with the hose routeing though. I have pictures if anyone is interested but need an inmate's email to send them to so you can post for me. Tks.

I made my own brake reso protector with Kydex. I sound like a salesman for them, but it would be easy to make hand guard extensions with it too.

Nice job!
I like to use Kydex and keep a stock of it. Will have to do this after flash switches and other stuff in process.

But since most people probably won't know what it is, I thought I'd write to add that a piece of bumper cover plastic from next to any highway will work just the same! Easy to cut and formable with a heat gun from Harbor Freight or Sears.
